Christmas Maps

my suggestion would be to add a map at a time so sort of build up to whatever you deem a good number of christmas maps

Not a bad idea. Build up almost advent calendar like. A couple this week a few more next week etc.

You would think at the age of 52 the excitment of Christmas would have worn off by now. But not in the slightest and the Christmas maps just compliment the build up.

Christmas fades late teens to when you either have kids or you have closer contact with kids, then the amusement and things you had forgot about Christmas come back. I always look at it as giving then watching the faces of people when they are either overjoyed, or just politely saying ty whilst grimacing underneath, The play of emotions is so good to watch.

I will go with your idea about adding maps and building them up slowly, just so I can sit back and imagine the faces from comments made

Well here we are, another year on. My impression is that CS:S now quickly fading in popularity. Hardly ever see activity on server 2 or even 3. So will there be any Christmas maps this year? Does anyone care any more ? Is CS:S soon to become a game of yester year joining the likes of Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy and anything that needed a modem (yes, showing my age there).

So lets hope for a Christmas map or two for old times sake and to re-awaken the ghost of Christmases past.

If you were online yesterday you would have noticed people on server #2 enjoying Christmas maps... There were even a few on server #1 last night.
It is too early to have these maps on permanently on the servers.. They will be on a week or so before Christmas.
