CS:S #2 - Scoutzknivez


We are pleased to announce the release of a Scoutzknivez server on CS:S #2. We have initially released this server for testing to receive feedback and make adjustments. You can find the current setup information below.

Features

  • 32-Player server
  • 12 Initial Maps
  • Gravity has been set to 220
  • Alltalk enabled
  • Instant respawn
  • Spawn protection set to 3 seconds
  • Weapons removed upon player death
  • Ranks disabled to restrict farming on UKCS CS:S stats
  • Timelimit 20 / Round time disabled however, initial 9 minutes due to CS:S restrictions but will bypass round ending

Feedback

Please provide feedback on the current settings, maps and anything else. I did have a bigger map pool but some of those have texture bugs due to being made for certain servers so it has their server textures missing.

Well, further to this I have a way to make 'scoutzknivez' work on normal maps by restricting buying/pickup of anything other than knife/scout and it gives a user scouts at spawn, if we go this route though, I can possibly up the player limit on the server and if not, stick to normal maps for Scoutzknivez.

I have updated the first thread, the server is up and using a custom death match system to bypass CS:S limitations, please provide feedback as I am not accustomed to Scoutzknivez however, have enabled auto respawn and death match based on a request, rather than round limitations you may be used to.

Hey Syn,

I noticed that although the ranking system is disabled, scout and knifes kills are still being recorded within the ranking system.

Love the map, just need to get it filled now :)

Just a heads up syna, it lagged when there were 4 of us yesterday on the map? Just letting you know :)

I removed the map(s) that were causing issues, any issues persist still?

Also, ranks were disabled on the backend for CS:S #2.

Maps have started to lag again on #2 for some reason?

Was fine before, checked today, and it's quite laggy
