Chickengate's law (also known as Trell's Rule of chicken Analogies or Trell's Law of slow food Analogies) is an argument made after Chickengate at i46 (2012) that has become an Internet adage. It states: "As a discussion about iSeries grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving chicken or lack of chicken [aka Chickengate] approaches 1". In other words, given enough time, in any discussion about iSeries—regardless of topic or scope—someone inevitably mentions chicken, either directly or implicitly.
