Assuming nothing has changed since the last event, Ricoh did not have an issue with people bringing in outside food that was also been served by the venue. Wizzo made this point in the Ricoh Q&A thread on the Multiplay forums before i51.

+1 for Decks Restaurant - we went last time at i51 and the breakfasts are really nice. You can help yourselves to most things.

I'll keep an eye out for offers again, they had vouchers around last time for cheaper breakfasts.

There was an Asda/Tesco thing about 10mins walk away last time and it wasn't that busy, whether this one being more convenient will make a big difference I don't know...
Hopefully, multiplay have let them know that there'll be a few thousand nerds sitting next door.
