However, Episode One may be pre-purchased at retail outlets now and via Steam beginning May 1, 2006. If you pre-purchase your copy via Steam, you’ll save 10% off the $19.95 price. Please visit your local retailer to inquire about pre-purchase promotions in your area.

In addition to the new single player campaign, Half-Life 2: Episode One also includes two multiplayer games. And everything you need to play is included in the box – Half-Life 2 is not required to play.

i plan to buy it but i do think that they named it wrong imo...

HL1 should of been episode 1
HL2 should of been episode 2
and all the addon's should be named 3, 4 etc...

Well i just watched the video for it and i cant wait for it, just discussing with gand and i think its gonna be the best part of HL so far, the downfal of the combine.

Well, yeah, it's a must buy. (that is if I still have the money in june)

and about the name, guess they shou've named them like gandolfone said. But then again the word episode in the title tells the buyer that the game isn't as long as a "normal" game. And prolly is priced lower aswell.

forking hell!!!!!!!

i just got round to getting this after i finished going through hl2 again to refresh my memory. all i can say is episode 1 owns. if anyone hasn't played it yet, get it and play it. i finished it an about 4 hours, but they have been the most enjoyable 4 hours i've had recently.

Just finished Episode 1 and boy was that so DECENT!!!

One of my favourite parts must of been in the Subways with the Zombies!

Cant wait for Episode 2
