Tbh, I think players are leaving because most of the time it's hugely one sided. Boring to be ct and annoying to be t.

Forced autoselect, team swap half way, no awps/autosnipers. You can't coordinate teams with all talk on.


Funny you should mention it but during the time I played yesterday the maps weren't actually as one sided as they normally are.
All of them ended with just a few points difference, T's even won Aztec.
Even funnier is the fact that on both teams nobody was using voice to call strategies or positions. In fact, it was dead quiet for most of the time unless it was regulars chatting who got lucky enough to be on the same team ;)

I'm still all for autoselect and no awp but really alltalk off is killing what server 2 used to be about, FUN.

UKCS has always been built around good quality servers, you have the advantage of two servers to use/edit.
Like you said there are two sets of players, one who want to be "competative" and the other who want to be "casual".
I have been on both servers, used to play on the old cs servers years ago but then had a gaming break and now back.
Some days you just want to knuckle down and get competative, others sit back and laugh.
So yeah Server#1 competative, alltalkOFF, autoforce to not choose your team also if you're worried about ghosting etc cant you forcecam at all?

Sever #2 deff needs Alltalk, and a more relaxed way of playing, its what defines UKCS, the fun, friendly chatting side :)
I do have to agree with the turning the players to not solid as there is now a lot of blocking and its a lot harder to play the game in a way. At least on #2?
As for awps, look at my stats i always use awp but yet im not the worlds best player and get 30/0 using one. Infact quite the opposite LOL!
I know there will always be a massive debate on it and everyone has their own opinion but I also know in the old days there were plugins to limit awps to like 2-3 per team, perhaps thats a happy compromise when a plugin is avaiable?

The UKCS CSS mod worked very well, I see no reason to not use the same principles in GO.

I guess the mod is what we're waiting for to get certain things sorted properly.
Btw I don't mind if awp gets heavily restricted instead of banned, in CSS it worked out that way too.

I've found a new way to get around the AWP situation - down grade to dial up. The lag will make you hard to catch lol

Looking forward to the UKCS mod <3 Still want alltalk on though :(

I suppose it's all about trial and error.

Loving the team swapping half way through, pretty much wipes out stacking and should keep the servers busy on maps that traditionally are one sided to a point.

yeah seems a bit odd...I last played GO a coupla weeks ago and both servers were brimming, had to wait 10 mins to get a slot on one..Now they're dead pretty much all day...wagwan?

Apologies if i've missed something momentous in the last 2 weeks. :(

Are there any awp plugins yet? I know a few other servers have them, i mean loook at my stats i use awps all the time etc but i know others don't like awps, surely if you can restrict to 2/per team maybe more people will come on and enjoy themselves?

Don't know if this has been already mentioned but I think Molotov's should be restricted to 2-3 per team, Having so many people buying them and just repeatably throw them in the same spot can just completely delay a round. And don't tell me to run through the damn things cause they hurt.

I'm not really bothered by the molotov's, it's not that bad on server #2 imo.
awp restriction will happen eventually, we know that already.
tbh i think the reason why the server isn't always full anymore is the fact that CSGO is now not a novelty anymore, ppl are done trying it just to see what it's like.
and maybe there aren't enough players who've moved on from 1.6 and css.
I don't really mind it, once you start playing the server usually fills quite quickly and personally I see a lot of people coming back once they've had a couple of fun maps on the server.
