I need to ace some old paintwork and annihilate some garden so I grabbed a few things from the local Screwfix.

Now if the bloody rain would sod off for a few days I could reclaim my garden.

I love the Lego games so when I spotted this bargain at the local Sainsbury I dropped it in the basket with the moo-juice and eggs.

Just bought myself an ED tracker. This will help me play elite dangerous as when I move my head, the tracker move it in game so no more key presses to mouselook. Ex tracker.org.uk only 30 odd quid

Also bought a tomtom 400eu sat nav for my motorbike. Don't tell the wife

A silent meep meep, aka an electric car!

We have a 330d and a freelander currently, we will be selling the freelander when the gets delivered next month.

Monthly we are Putting £80 of fuel in the landrover, paying £60 insurance, £20 AA break down and £25 tax not to mention it's getting old and is starting to cost on repairs. So about £185 a month before any maintenance costs.

We got a deal paying £160 a month for the leaf, no road tax, free RAC cover for 2 years, no fuel and £30 insurance a month. So £190.

So for £5 extra month we are getting a brand new car, it has a range of 124 miles on paper (nearer 100 in fact) it can charge to £80% in 30 minutes at the likes of asda or anywhere that has a charge point and costs £2 to charge to full at home.

The girlfriend drives 10 to 15 miles a day to work and the shops, seemed like a no brainier! Fair enough it isn't the prettiest to look at but for what it will be used for it should eventually save us a fair bit of money each month, but we shall see how i feel in a few months time

Awesome! Was looking at one but my commute is too much. Make sure you get the 6kw, fast charger. Also range is basically half in the winter.

getting the 6kw, and I doubt it will ever do more than 60 miles in a trip so should be fine!

I was interested in buying one but sadly the infrastructure here doesn't support it.

I could just about manage the work commute (despite the only charging stations being right in the centre of the city) but going out of the city would be impossible.

I missed some things.

I fancied a shirt that could double for work and social and spotted a bargain Tommy Hilfiger.

Image

My yearly puerile filth annual to pad out an Amazon order with some basics.

Image

Many inks for the printing and a spare camera battery for a planned zoo visit.

Image

A good supply of cheap laser pointer batteries for playing with cats.

Image

A slightly too large elbow brace to pack with cooled gel packs as my right hand aches like hell. I hope to grow into it.

Image

Also some glow in the dark butterfly stickers and glow in the dark paint. Fed up of losing the remotes and PS3 controllers.

Nice.

My ancient weights bench bit the dust last night and at the end of a decline press set I heard something crack. Thankfully it wasn't my bones but the forward stand is shagged and after over two decades my old York is heading for the scrap yards.

On to Amazon and it's replacement should be on it's way soon.

Serves me right for upping my lifting to two hours I suppose.

I sucked all the marrow out of my last PS3 game and spotted this at a silly bargain price along with two cheap optical audio cables for some upcoming changes to my home cinema set-up.

Image

I liked the sillier parts of San Andreas and felt the main mission of GTA4 was dull so this should suit me right down to the ground.

That bench is a fine piece of kit BTW. Great for taller people unlike a lot of home weight benches in the budget bracket. I'm six three and I can see that it could be fine even for taller bodies.

I've just got a new case (Corsair Air 540) for my new PC upgrade....
Still need to get some more parts, graphics card (GTX980 or GTX980TI) and a water cooling stystem (CPU, GPU, Motherboard). But that's in the next couple months :)

May have to do some cable management outside of the case :P

I got an optical switch box and then remembered that of course I need one more cable from the box to the speakers. Quick delivery from Amazon and now I can stop having to switch the one cable around between my cable box, PS3 and PS2.

Tiny and it works so I can enjoy surround sound movies, gaming, retro gaming and the better quality HD broadcasts.
