HOLY JIZZ. I'm buying this when it comes out no questions asked. I wonder if there will be multiplayer this time round, Might be hard to put into it but I'm sure valve can think of a way since Playing Portal as a mulitplayer would be awesome.
Also, I wonder what "drattmannh0ee" means. It was on the announcement with single letters being underlined. Very strange indeed :/

Doug Rattmann was the guy who went through the portal chambers before Chell did. He's the one who left all the messages behind saying "The cake is a lie". h0nee was a reference to Cave Johnson (creator of Aperture Science) as he won the national honey championship.

drattmann:h0nee were the new username and password for the online BBS, that valve were using to host a series of ASCII type images, which then gave new images in an interesting format. These images later on were found to be compatible with a program that was on the BBS (using the old Backup:backup username and password that got the ASCII images to begin with) and gave us 2 images talking about the co-op trials

I hope they don't put so much developing into the Multiplayer that the Single Player becomes average.

Well lets put it this way, it took a year and a half for Valve to make episode 1 with a boat load of new technologies [HDR being one]

It's been 3 years for portal 2, and all they've added is Co-Op - Which has been done in community mods & L4D so there isn't much to do there - I'm expecting epic amounts of gameplay involved.

[I'm ignoring the Mac support, as that's likely a separate part of valve just porting over the entire source engine]

no one ever said there would be mac support, only concrete evidence points to porting Steam to mac, which would make sense as that is a relatively untouched market by publishers.
