A little warning, some may find this upsetting.http://intheshadowofthesun.org/
The trailer starts to give you an idea, but I'll give a little bit of exposition.
People with albinism in many African states face prejudice through no fault of their own because of looking different and myths spread about them by traditional witchdoctors, claiming they can make a potion to better their lives if they bring back bones/limbs of an albino person. This may sound like bollocks to you, which it is, however some people are desperate enough to believe this and there have been reports of attacks, especially in Tanzania, resulting in more than 200 cases in the past 10 years.
I first heard about this a few years ago, although not much has changed, there has been some progress in persecution of the assailants and more attention brought to the issue from the UN human rights council.
I just wanted people to know this happens and to give something to discuss. If you have any questions about Albinism I'm sure I can answer them
