need urgent help with fan speed on 965be - fixed

Postby Volkan^ on Tue Dec 20, 2011 7:47 pm

guys, recently ive been noticing my cpu temps are just not what they should be.
ive read elsewhere that the stock fan can run up to 5000rpm? but i can only get mine to work at 3500 max with speedfan setting at 100%
what gives? what the hell do i need to do to get it to run at 5k rpm? when playing battlefield 3 im hitting temps of 67c which is WAY HIGH for this cpu as far as im aware.

please help me solve this :X

*edit*
also, i notice speed fan only detects two fans? ive got like 5 including the cpu fan. is there a way to route more power to my case fans so they run faster? this is driving me nuts.

First is the heatsink dusty? if it is clean it, are all the exhaust fans clear?

I would give it a clean first, are you using pc probe to measure the temp? so how long you in Istanbul for?
