on all games its a bad one :( lots to test
try removing it from your system and let it 're-find' the drivers on a reboot (from device manager)
re-install drivers, cleanly (remove the old ones)
reseat the card in the slot and check/change power leads, if its not bus powered.
the list is kind of endless..
maybe try a benchmark app

It is a laptop and the temp of the CPU was around 50 ~ 53˚C. It looked like almost all components had that temp.
I'm going to look in to it today.

It could be that its not actually using your gpu and is running it through the onboard graphics?
Maybe it can't recognize your gpu (drivers), its not plugged in :P or its just broken.

/edit never mind, just seen its a laptop.

Of course you can, but getting him to buy you a new PC would be the problem :P

A few good tips, and I would have to go with the driver theory, as in bad/corrupt drivers.

Download the drivers from the manufacturer site first, then install new gfx drivers.

Use this to remove the old drivers first, since corrupted registry settings could affect any new driver install.
