HDTV VGA port or PC monitor

I having a big dilemma with this..... I know is a huge difference in resolution quality with the PC monitor... but I love the huge screen from the HDTV for playing games like CSS.....so is quality V's quantity.... :scratch:

What you guys think is better?
The Gentle or the Furious.
The Knight shield or the Warriors sword.
The Right and Wrong or the Wrong and Right.
The Open palm or the closed fist.
The Black or the White ?

I personally set up both so that I can change my mind now and again :)

Just clone the TV and the PC monitor.

You mean with a second graphic card? because I was thinking about doing that.

A lot of single GPU's come with 2 slots for 2 displays at the same time. When I had three cards running in my tower I was given the options for 6 monitors. No idea why any one would ever want that many though.

What card is it that you have?

Right... no, this computer only have a ATI X600 and the PC is about 6-7 years old now... I only recently started playing PC games again, so for the past 6 years haven't done many upgrades... :oops: I building a more up to date PC, but is taking me a bit longer than a though (Money/Time).

But I don't want to clone the monitor... I want to have different resolutions.... you see the HDTV only goes as far as 1360 x 768 and the PC monitor goes as far as 1920 x 1080....I have a old ATI 9600 some were.. I may try to do that.

HDTV's are fine if you are just going to be using VGA (Make sure you get 1080P which will give you full HD resolution of 1920x1080, rather than 720p which will only give you 1360x768) However if you plan on upgrading your gfx card so you can watch movies/play games in highdef over a HDMI cable you must make sure that the telly supports a gaming mode or you will be stuck with a mouse that lags behind. I play all my games on a 42" 3D HDTV and its great
