7 "Viruses?

Postby Gh0st.IRE on Wed Oct 03, 2012 1:04 pm

So I scanned my PC twice, and I keep getting these 7 threats but no matter what I do, I can't actually do anything to remove/repair/move to chest etc to get rid of them. Any ideas?

You mean "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" :D

I don't know my way around your anti virus program, but Avira has a rescue-cd thingy, where you boot from a cd and you can scan (and delete) everything, since windows isn't started up.
I think it's called "Avira AntiVir Rescue System". In any case, I'd make a backup before I start deleting stuff.

Are you sure it's really a virus? Did you upload it to https://www.virustotal.com/?

Easy answer, google mbam.exe and you get malware bytes

looks like this one doesn't like competitors, I would release and ignore this one in all fairness
