Ok so after a moment of utter stupidity and well bad anger management this morning I managed to break my lovely Razer Mamba mouse. I called myself a few things afterwards. Its only good for browsing the web since the left button just doesnt work 100%.

So I need a new mouse and well I guess some advice would be good since I dont work and have very little money.

Whats my options then guys??

Been using a logitech G400 for a little while now, though there's some bad press about disconnection issues from 2011 still ongoing in some batches it seems. I've abused mine for a couple of months now and it's still ticking along fine :)

Overall, 3 year warranty and a solid current track record is nice. The fact it's only £25 at the mo is also nice: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005 ... f_=lh_ni_t

The left button doesn't work how? i took my old diamondback apart because of the same problem (years of use,not rage lol) and managed to repair it.

I will be taking it apart later on just to see if I can get it working, but I don't want to risk that with only a completely crap mouse to work with.

G500 is great, though is a power hog as all logitech devices are. Got some grumbles when I plugged my keyboard and mouse in the same front hub.

mx518 or the newer version of it, you can't go wrong with that mouse

I had a Logitech g400 develop disconnect problems already and TBH the cable is old fashioned and weak looking. The wheel finish was shoddy as well. So either slipping standards or poor quality control and I got a Mionix 3200 instead.

It's easily the best mouse shape I've ever used and could have been custom made for comfort for me. The buttons seem a little stiff but responsive and the wheel is superb. It works without drivers although customisation is available through them and even looks nice with three different colour lighting schemes for the logo and wheel. The cable isn't the traditional plastic coated and seems really high quality. The mouse itself seems tough without being heavy.

Overclockers have had it on special a few times as well.

There is nothing wrong with Razer. My Deathadder 3.5G and Naga Epic has last ages without fault. I find myself that Logitech mouses are not as great as everyone makes out but if you get a good one then yes, they are nice just feel horrible for me to use.

I have a Shitadder 3.5G and it's probably the worst mouse I had. First it started to double click so I fixed it and now it's not registering all clicks.

Worked fine for me and several other people who had one just like people get bad Logitech mouses, not all are the same.

Yep, I do not like Logitech at all and have been using Razer for a long time now, same counts for my brother. :)
I have used up 2 Copperheads in 4 years (they were lovely but do not like fluids) and am using a Imperator now.
My brother has used the Deathadder (original) which lasted for ages, then got one of the refreshes and is on a Mamba these days because he liked the idea of wireless and wired capabilities in a single mouse.

Every line has faults with some products and Logitech are good mouses I just don't like the feel in my hand which is why I prefer Razer.

Every mouse I have had from Razer have lasted me for at least 3 years without any faults. The only reason this one broke is I smashed it against my table when I got some bad news.

This is the mouse I am thinking of for the time being.

I do not know about their mouse products mate but I have a keyboard from them and it is dreadful. the additional side buttons for profiles on the side make you mistype half the time and the keys are not so responsive considering its a gaming one so if that is anything to go by their mouse may be the same =\

I can give a big +1 to the Mionix Naos 3200. I bought one at i43 and the fit in my hand was superb. It was fairly basic in terms of features, but nice and responsive. One down side is that the software was crap and kept crashing on me.

The only reason I am not using it now is because, quite ironically, my cat ate it.

It is also the current Custom PC recommended mouse because it is relatively cheap, but does a great job. (http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/periph ... 0-review/1)
