Playing css widescreen

Postby iplaya on Wed Jul 29, 2009 7:36 pm

Normally i use 1024 x 768 when playing css due to my old monitor. But since i bought my 22" widescreen i wanted to start playing it on 1680 x 1050 which my monitor supports. However everytime i change to these settings it crashes after 1 - 2min. Any idea why? Only happens in CSS

Are you running a low direct x setting (ie 7 or 8 ) - try running other high resolutions to see if it happens ie 1440 x 900 and test the game - I can`t see why only resulotion would crash the game.

In Steam Right-click CSS > Properties > Set Launch Options > Fill in: -autoconfig > Save it and start the game
