Google it mate ;)

Basically you need to make a 30second mp3 clip. Rename it to .m4r then add it to the itunes library. You should then be able to transfer to your phone :)

Not as a ringtone. m4r need to be at most a 30s clip.

Tbh who lets their phone ring for longer than 30s before it goes to answerphone? I have about a 2s clip on mine, (The Soldier from TF2 shouting FIRE FIRE FIRE!), that loops until the answerphone picks it up.

There is an app (you have to pay) in the appstore at the moment within the top 25 which means you can do any song.

get the song u want, right click it and set properties to what 30 seconds u want (ie 0:00 - 0:30 or 1:29 - 1:59), then convert the song to acc format.

go into your itunes folder and search for the new file. change the m4a to m4r. drag it back onto itunes and blammo 1 new ringtone :D

you have got to love the simplicity and welthoughtoutness of iphones
