Ah here Syn, whatever about your opinions on the acting, their are loads and loads of zombies in it! Granted some episodes have more than others, but The Walking Dead was written as a story about the people surviving, not the zombies.

Well I have watched the first two episodes of the new season, the second one (and its not just in The Walking Dead, I noticed it in Castle too) some of the actors/actresses seem uncomfortable at some scenes, but its a good start to the season and the cliffhanger left at the second episode will make this weeks upcoming one a good watch!

Watched the 1st episode and not really sure what to make of it. Yes it is good to see it back on the TV, but sort of felt like a 'meh' kind of episode. You watch it and go '...meh'. But I do understand that they need to build it up slowly, would be a bit silly if they blew the budget on the 1st episode of the new season and the rest was just total nonsense

Well without saying too Rick definitely improves if you watch the second episode and I completely get what you mean, it took me several goes to even get through season 1 but hopefully Sunday proves it was worth watching still from the preview!

this is my second fave tv show (after Breaking Bad) just seen the latest mid season Finale all i can say is that if you have not yet then watch it by any means it is pretty awesome and sets up the series for some good future storylines.

I bought the big compendium books a while ago, and i really wished they had been more inspired by them. They are way more intense and raw. Focusing more on the survival aspect, and showing more of the desperation and rivalry in between the survivors.
Im looking forward to checking out the new season, but it has become a little on the slow side for me.

You know what? "Kilowatt-hours per sol" is a pain in the ass to say. I'm gonna invent a new scientific unit name.
One kilowatt-hour per sol is... it can be anything.. um...I suck at this ... oh FK it. I'll call it a "pirate-ninja".
All told, the Big Three need 69.9pn, most of that going to the Oxygenator and Atmospheric regulator."

Just watched the season finale - quite an interesting season, not sure how I feel about it but obviously some good bits and another long wait now!

without spoiling it for many i have enjoyed this second half much more than the first. the mid-season finale really shook things up. i much prefer the "on the road" storylines personally.

I wonder if he'll be sorry that he's messing with the wrong people
This is my sandvich. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My sandvich is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my sandvich is useless. Without my sandvich, I am useless. I must eat my sandvich true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy, who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will. Before lunch I swear this creed: my sandvich and myself are defenders of my country, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but sandvich. Om nom.

Great episode. although the gore factor was turned up unnecessarily high.

Also, there's an extra scene after the credits this time.

The first episode aired in the US last night (so around 5 GMT this morning). No idea how delayed it is in the UK though.

The latest episode is pretty much 'The Hunters' reworked for a bigger event. Not bad and worth watching to see where they go next.

I'm not sure this deserves a spoiler but if they do follow the books then I wonder if Jesus will show up and will he still be gay?

Oh well, another 2.5 month break due to the bizarre US TV system!

There's an extra scene after the credits again this week.
