Real violence is ugly and brutal so points for authenticity. Goodness Nathelie Emmanuele is an attractive person.

I overdosed on viewing goodness yesterday so I almost feel like watching daytime TV to even things out.

Well it's certainly possible but it was a voluntary duel. Wars have been started over less.

The first episode of GoT that actually made my stomach turn. Impressed, would watch again, 10/10.

I'm in the middle of reading A Feast For Crows and I'm watching the series at the same time. Getting VERY confused about certain things right now. Looks like the series is drifting further away from the books here and there, doesn't it? At least the series is cutting some corners.

Whereabouts in the book series is the latest episode? Is it one book per series?

I think the first season was pretty true to the first book. After that the series has taken some 'liberties'. Think the current season is based upon the latter half of the 3rd book and the first half of the 4th oslt? The latest episode was at the end of the 3rd book, if I recall correctly.

The one thing that wasn't in the books I think was the Hound and Arya going to the Bloody Gate, or then I just can't remember that happening. Brandon on the other side of the Wall at Crasters Keep was something that I haven't come across yet in the books as well.

This is my sandvich. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My sandvich is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my sandvich is useless. Without my sandvich, I am useless. I must eat my sandvich true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy, who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will. Before lunch I swear this creed: my sandvich and myself are defenders of my country, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but sandvich. Om nom.

VIOLENCE! Loved the latest episode even if...

I saw Ygrittes death coming but was still disappointed to see her go as I love strong female characters but was pleased Samwell picked up the nerve to kiss Gilly. The giant in the tunnel was fantastic even if we didn't get to see the fight it might be better to leave it to peoples imaginations.

Damn, that was an amazing season finale! Sucks that it's over again though, my life makes no sense anymore now :P
