Breaking Bad

Has anyone watched this TV show? I recently discovered on Netflix and finished seasons 1-3, 4 doesnt seem to have been aired in the UK but 5 is currently in production. I consider this the best show I've seen since BSG. The story line isnt inspiring when you first read it but the way its scripted, the acting, the storyline as it develops is intriguing and intense. Bryan Cranston from Malcolm in the Middle stars and has impressed me with this.

I didnt realise all the fuss it has been making in the US for the past 4 years winning multiple emmies but its just totally brilliant!!

I love the first series, it's incredibly tense and satisfying.

I've only watched the second series after that and it just isn't as good. I've got a trail month with netflix currently so I will probably watch the rest.

It is, and finishes strong.

I like the karmic element to it, that no matter how much money he makes (or should be making) things always conspire to leave him penniless and in some sort of danger.

I shall have to watch the rest then but as I said I don't think series two is a patch on one, imo it had little of the confusion or grit that the first series had.

by what would jesus do?
it keeps getting better, man. It fluctuates, but as a general rule, the latter episodes of a season are better than the first episodes. And the first episodes are already pretty good, so as I said, it keeps getting better.

There's one season left, but I have no idea what they're going to do with that one. And I'm excited to find out.

Yeah, it's a good show.

Those few moments where Walter mentally flips a switch and turns into a badass make my day.

I did hear about this series but the plot sounds a bit weak so I never actually started watching it.

I was just looking into this on a trial month of netflix (movies on there are dreadful compared to lovefilm as in what is available - the US version has much better titles!!) and shall have a look into it now I've seen some of your reviews, cheers!

I don't know. I think it had to end where it did. Anything more would have been really jumping the shark.

I've got free Netflix for 6 months, so I've started watching this as it's universally hailed as the best thing ever. Three episodes in and I can take it or leave it (I'm assuming it gets better).

It reminds me of Dexter (I only managed 1.5 episodes of that) because I don't really give a damn about any of the characters.

I'll stick at breaking bad for the first season at least and see where it goes.

Trust me, it gets BETTER the first two seasons I think it was or the first at least is not so good imo, took me three tries but once things got going DAMN IT WAS GOOD!
