yeah, i thought series 2 got a bit OTT with all the symbolism type cutscenes but it is right back on form <3
there's doing things for art/stylism but it was almost every 5 mins at times, it looked good, just extremely boring after the 10th cutscene. we got it, Will Graham was losing himself... far too much mood music too. the story got a little lost in it all and it started to feel like episode padding and directorial 'fluffing'.
Mads Mikkelsen is awesome.

Getting to the end of season 3 now.

There are some nice stylistic decisions but some episodes feel like the writers said, "Here's five minutes' of material, mess with water and smoke effects for the rest of the show."
