[TV & Book] Lord of the Rings

Postby sage3995 on Wed Apr 10, 2013 10:32 pm

Hey guys, Long time Lord of the Rings fan here and very disappointed that I didn't see a LotR thread so I thought I would make one!
Personally my favourite of the trilogy is Fellowship of the Ring just because the Shire was my favourite area in Middle Earth and every scene there was just glorious to me.
My favourite character has gotta be Pippin, just because he is such a joker but a real strong hobbit at heart.
I'll end this little post with my favourite and most heart wrenching moment of the whole trilogy.

I read the books many years ago and re-watched the movies recently. I am a big fan of them and although some things could of been better in the movies I agree they were amazing from the visuals to the acting...better than that Hobbit rubbish which was a disappointment for part I. That is also my favourite movie of them and my favourite character would be Boromir, I just love the way Sean acts.

Tolkien is a genius. The books are three of the best I've ever read. The movies are three of the best I've ever seen - and the soundtrack by Howard Shore is pure win.
