The Vans Shoes Sale influence of this scene is apparent in the materials used on the shoe, all of which are inspired by the iconic outfits worn by The Ramones. Black leather appears on the toebox and lacing system in tribute to the leather jackets the band wore, while the use of blue denim and a scuffed jazz stripe are a reference to skinny jeans and the striped tongue is in honor of their T-shirts. Finishing off the design is a tab on the midsole marks the date of the gig.

Consisting two colorways, both Vans Shoes Women come with a blacked-out upper as a canvas for a burst of vivid and colorful stripes running along the laterals. The black-soled silhouette brings out warmer tones ranging from reds to oranges to purples, while the white-soled iteration boasts colors from all across the rainbow’s spectrum as well as matching white stitching across the entire body. Both colorways feature black laces running up to a black tongue tag with a contrasting white Vans logo.

The Vans Shoes Black are adorned with traditional drawings of the sun, moon, stars, lightning and more, but focus on the ancient ouroboros symbol, which shows a dragon eating its own tail. Both pairs take on a traditional Vans colorway of “Black/True White,” with the Sk8-Hi combining black suede with the off-white-hued canvas. The Era uses canvas across its entire upper, splitting the ouroboros print on its mid panels and vamp with mythological drawings on the toe and heel components.

The Vans Sk8-Hi Reissue White/Red/Blue is made from a mixture of black suede, black leather, cream canvas and black canvas, creating a muted but brave look for the shoe. Its cream mid-panel sections are adorned with an all-over oversized tribal print, which is intersected with a black leather Jazz Stripe. This section is connected to a suede eyestay and heel tab, while black canvas forms the front of the shoe at the toe box and tongue.
