GT Ultima GTR - it`s a car you can build yourself - you just need a spanner, screwdriver and a large hammer.

And it`s the holder of many world records. http://www.ultimasports.co.uk/Default.aspx

new Porsche 911GT2RS does some nasty things to me mentally. For those that arent too hot on their Porsches the average 911 have become increasingly softcore and more docile as they've got older. During the late 70s and 80s they single handedly culled the worlds playboy population with lift-off and power oversteer. However, occasionally there are the 'GT's, for example the GT3, GT3RS and the GT2, which are harder, more track focused

GT2 is based on the 911 Turbo, with more power and rear wheel drive only, as opposed to the Turbo's 4wd system. The 996 generation (egg fried headlights) gained a deserved reputation as the 'widowmaker' due to it's sheer savagery and tendancy to go sideways into the nearest tree. This got even worse with the 997 Gen (round headlights) with more power, understeer if you entered to quickly and horrific understeer if you exited the corner with to much right foot. But at least it had traction control. As if this wasn't enough, theres now a GT2RS (RS standing for RennSport) with 611BHP from a factory production car. Works out at roughly 435bhp per tonne.

the video on Top Gear pretty much sums this obscene german piece of engineering magic like no words can.

Having driven a GT2 i can honestly tell you you'd be pressed to find a harder car to drive. It's entirely mechanical and theres no electronic systems to save you if you cock up. There are cars out there with more power which are ten times easier to drive. But in the hands of a decent driver, theres very little than can touch it.

I'd take one of these over a Ferrari/Lambo/Aston any day of the week. Even if i end up in a coffin shortly after purchasing one :|

yah henessey viper venom...

beautiful... and very fast, 1000 hp.

0-60 mph: 2.9 sec
0-100 mph: 5.9 sec <---- :O

but if that wasn't crazy enough... try the venom GT

which is basically a 725hp Lotus Elise, its not in production yet, and I imagine its built to order, but its just insane.
