Flora London Marathon 2009

Postby Templar+ on Thu Oct 09, 2008 5:11 pm

im going to be running this in april 2009 on behalf of the Children With Leukaemia Charity, but i only have 6 months to train for this event so its going to be very hard and very tough, i had a friend that died from leukaemia earlier this year and had a massive effect on me so im going to be doing this in his memory, im a little scared yet excited as i have never done anything like this before and would very much like to finish the full marathon! i hope some of you will sponsor me too when i get all that sorted out =P wish me luck!

My dad had a stroke a few years ago he is only 51 that is very young for a stroke. he has got himself in shape and ran the marathon last year and gonna do it again this year, its gotta be one of the most rewarding things you can do, finishing the marathon.

Best of luck temp and give details how to sponsor closer to the time and i sure will do it

I will help out, drop the link for the sponsor site when you can :)

I have done a sky dive for charity and it felt really good to do something so huge. Good luck with the training! <3

Good luck Temp! Much respect.
My Gran suffered from leukaemia in the last year of her life and i did some charity work, raising money for leukaemia research.
If you've got an address (net or otherwise), i'll more than happily sponsor you.
