well as you know today, south africa played wales in rugby union.

hensen was injured for wales

and south africa have been without percy montgomerie due to his test retirement.

the score was. SA: 20 - 15 :Wales

other matches today were played including england, scotland and the irish.

scores for those were

Eng: 39- 13 : PI (pacific Islands)

Sco: 6-32 :NZ

Ire: 55-0 : Can

ireland gave canada a good thrashing, wouldn't have expected anything else from them against a weaker opponent.

all in all a good weekend of International Rugby

Fixtures for this Weekend

Sat: Ireland vs New Zealand - again i think it could go either way. Ireland thrashed a rather poor canada side, where as NZ thrashed scotland

Sat: England vs Australia - I think it should be a good game and could go either way.

Sat: South Africa - Scotland - South africa struggled slightly againt wales in the second half when wales put on a good comeback but we stopped that.

Predictions

SA vs Sco: South Africa - Win

Ire vs Nz: New Zealand - Win

Eng vs Aus: England - win

ok draw for the RWC2011 was made today...

Pool A - New Zealand, France, Tonga, Americas 1, Asia 1

Pool B - Argentina, England, Scotland, Europe 1, play-off winner

Pool C - Australia, Ireland, Italy, Europe 2, Americas 2

Pool D - South Africa, Wales, Fiji, Oceania 1, Africa 1

England have a tough one... as do Scotland...

Wales look promising and Ireland need to best Italy....

Not a squeak from you guys when Wales beat Australia to give the northen hemisphere countries there only victory over the tri nation playing teams.

I kept wondering when someone would post some comments on that match, but instead its oh well onto the RWC.

Wasnt having a go, just wondering why there was no comment about it... after all it was fairly significant as the only victory over the UK had over the tri nation playing teams.

... as to my posting, well to be honest I dont watch that much sport, generally I only watch SA and Welsh matches (Born in Wales, lived in SA for 25 years).

+ its only Wales ? I thought Wales least gave a better account of themselves than England did. Dont you think so ?

Awwwhh the best thing about watching a game involving the All Blacks or Tongo or quite a few Pacific islands nations is the hacker (hakaa? I can't remember/cba looking up how to spell it)
Soooo awesome+scary if you were up close to that, lookes a bit funny on TV though :D

Scotland 9 - Australia 8

Our first victory for 27 years over them!

I may have to get some whisky out to celebrate this.
