Rangers Fans trouble (Again..)

Uefa will wait until it receives the official delegate's report before deciding Rangers' fate after their fans clashed with police during the match against Unirea Urzceni.

Gers supporters were seen fighting with police at half-time of Rangers' UEFA Champions League match on Wednesday, with one fan caught ripping out seats.

Romanian police used gas spray in an effort to disperse the trouble, with Uefa hinting that Rangers could be banned from European competition.

However, Rangers chief executive Martin Bain has criticised Unirea for their treatment of Scottish fans after reports surfaced suggesting that only two turnstiles were opened, causing many fans to miss the majority of the first half.

"As far as we can establish at the moment it seems there were a number of Rangers supporters who came late into the stadium, and we need to find out why," Uefa director of communications Rob Faulkner told Sky Sports News.

"Then there was an issue about where they were going to sit as apparently there were banners already placed there, which resulted in the request to remove some banners, which seems to have ended in a clash between stewards and some supporters.

"We'll wait until we get all the facts in from our official reports and we'll study those before we decide what to do."

Look into claims
Faulkner also highlighted that Uefa would look into the claims made by Bain: "If that's the case, definitely (we will look at it).

"If that's what had been agreed beforehand, again we will have this in the reports. If that is the case it will be taken into account should we move into any kind of disciplinary case.

"We should get the reports in during the course of today (Thrusday), and then we'll look at those.

"If we need to discuss with people who were there on site we will do that, and obviously we'll take action after that. In the next couple of days we should know."

It's disgusting. A ban from all European competitions would serves them right.

why did the journalist point out that one fan was wripping up seats?

This happens so regulary at games with abit of spice, people stamp on chairs to break them off have abit of a threat or throw.

Well ive been going to every home game for last 10 years at orient, and most away days for last 3 and i've seen it about 15 times. Maybe regularly was a strong word as that amounts to about once a season, but it happens alot.
