Car Re-spray?

Hey guys do people know much about re-spraying a car, looking at different colour.

prices? procedures?(dvla need to know?)

Car is a 03 punto if thats anyhelp to size

you talking about a full respray? change of colour, full car? - edit - misread your first post yes you are!

your not talking pennies, you get what you pay for, depending where you go it could be anything from 1k to 3k

your insurance would need to be notified and the dvla aswell so they can change the colour on your records.

If you do all the prep work you will save a lot of money as most of the cost is the prep work.

I would phone around to get quotes with and with out the prep work.

Wow, sounds like alot of money. Guessing if its going to cost me 1k+ i aint going to bother with it. getting a new car when im 25 so dont want to splash out loads now on this one. Reason behind a spray was that there is alot of scratches and missing paint on my car. mite be cheaper to just cover them up and stick to the annoying common colour silver.

Just getting scratches and stonechips done is a costly and timely job -> looking at around £500 mark for just that. Unless you do a half arsed job yourself.
