I think the rest of the team is doing more of the work instead of relaying on just two players to score goals and create chances. :D

Also City looked disturbingly good yesterday.

I'm not sure I agree. I suspect it's more to do with tactics than anything else. I'd still love Young and Downing to be at Villa. Barry and Milner, too.

Transfer Deadline Day tomorrow and it's already getting lively.

- Newcastle have signed Davide Santon for £5mil - Get in!
- Owen Hargreaves likely going to Man City - Good luck to him I say
- Scott Parker looks set for Tottenham
- Totenham also trying to sign Gary Cahill
- Sunderland apparently bid £10mil for Peter Crouch - Larf
- Arsenal being linked with every player in the world.

I had the transfer clockwatch on in the background all yesterday. Very distracting with Santon being signed. :)

Very unhappy Newcastle didn't sign another striker, especially with some of the names we were targetting. Need more cover in Defense, too. Hopefully Davide Santon doesn't take too long to settle in. Almost signed Bryan Ruiz instead of Fulham at the last minute aswell, I think he'll turn afew heads this season.

Not confident in the Arsenal squad with the players they've brought in. They'll be very lucky to get Champion's League football next season.

Liverpool losing Meireles to Chelsea at the end's gotta sting. :P

Man United or Man City's season for the taking, based on their sexy squads right now.

I agree, Arteta is certainly no replacement for Cesc.

Liverpool either have done a shrewd piece of business for Bellamy or are completely wasting 80k a week, only time will tell really on that one...

Losing Meireles probably will end up hurting them, though I understand the squad needed to be trimmed a bit.

It will be interesting to see how the new transfers fare, as there are no games this week (international weekend), so some players will have more of a chance to gel with their new team than others.

I think Wiltshire is the real replacement for Cesc and Arteta will do well at Arsenal.

Never seen that Bryan Ruiz fellow but choosing Fulham over us was a bit silly of him.

I thought Everton would struggle this year before the 31st, and now I'm sure of it. Drenthe is a good signing, but losing Arteta will be a big blow for them. That Stracqualursi guy they've brought in to cover Beckford's move to Leicester ironically was on trial at Leicester only last week and he didn't do enough to earn himself a contract, so if he wasn't good enough for us I can't imagine he'll do a lot at Everton. Everton fans must be fuming!
