MGS4 Gameplay @ Gametrailers

Several blogs posted about this not long ago (like minutes) but all had slow embeds, so I found this better streaming copy for you all to see! It's 15mins long, shows gameplay, a short cutscene and a has some commentary.

I wanted this game so much before, and the video has just made me want it even more. It looks gorgeous, feels just like MGS and there's some nice gameplay elements not seen in the previous games, due to the fact he is in the middle of a battlefield.

But what the hell are you reading this for, go bloody well watch it and enjoy!

Very excitied, the graphics are superb by the looks of it and it's got that nice next-gen espinoage look. Was a bit concerned at the start that, since its so beautiful that it would struggle but when that building colapsed and the RPG effects were simply awesome.

Looks very promising, does anyone know the release date for this?

Kojima says "Early 08". It's simultanious world release.

Very Interesting. It seems the storyline of the game may be affected by your choice of alleigence in battles?

o.O now weapon boxes! Just weapons on the floor you pick up! I'm sooo gonna miss tons of weapons because I am blind >.<

A cover system like Gears of War, full compatibility between 3rd AND 1st person shooter gameplay!! ME WANTS NOW

Looks like the quick reload is gone as well!

I don't think so. I was under the impression from the video that one of the sides would just kill you if they saw you. Then again, they might surprise us!

They probably did this so the demo dude has less chance of feckin up and start having to do a killing spree, which would sorta defeat the purpose of the showing the crowd what the new MGS is capable of. I hope at least.

Will probably be the next addition to my PS3 collection..can't see anything else exciting due until this.

Looks to have borrowed quite heavily from Splinter Cell, which is a good thing as the viewpoint, movement and action controls have always been much better than MGS's.

Will I miss much by skipping MGS3? Really can't be bothered playing it as it feels horrible.

Grand Theft Auto 4 and Pro Evo 7! But from what you're saying I guess you'll be buying them for the 360 instead?

It looks immense, a PS3 will be mine for this alone.

GTA4 most likely for the 360...due to it haviong the exclusive downloadable content. I'll only get the PS3 version should there be something seriously wrong with the 360 one...but I doubt that's going to happen.

Pro Evo 7 I'm unsure about....Love my PES games but PES 6 on 360 was dogshit tbh so Konami better have pulled their finger out this time around. The only thing that may warrant the game on PS3 is if they have PS3 to PC cross platform play like PES6 did on PS2....oh and easy access to edited option files too.
