Dota 2, the constant in my life.

HOWEVER! I have picked up playing this fantastic little game called Space Station 13 - played on the BYOND platform. Its graphics are straight from the 80s, but the depth of stuff you can do in it just blows my mind constantly.

I'm in a retro mood so took Fallout 2 off my GOG shelf and went for a stroll around the radioactive wasteland. It really did make you suffer at first with the difficulty of finding a gun. The music is still so perfect for the game though.

Finding a gun? I still find the temple sequence to be brutal. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic game but the difficulty curve is ridiculously schizophrenic.

It needs you to kite a fair bit but some of it makes sense as the evil geckos are more profitable to kill after rescuing the trapper so you can skin the little gits. So much stabbing in the eyes.

Finally been able to try out Dark Souls 3 with my new graphics card.

So far I'm loving it! Get the same vibes that I get from the other souls games, and it currently for me is the best souls game in the series.

Oh, it's quite easily the best in the series.

I mean, DS1 is amazing and DS2 was goddamn good with the Scholar update, but 3 just blows them all out of the water. The pace is faster, the game just feels 'bigger' and the callbacks are fantastic. It's definitely a damn good send-off for the series.

Now, though, I'm intrigued what From are going to do next. Part of me is hoping for a new Chrome Hounds.

I have been messing about with Crossout, think Robocraft meets Mad Max and they make a baby World of Tanks... You build your battle vehicles with all sorts of scrap and parts, arm them with a nice variety of weapons like MG's and 88's Cannons, or rockets or missiles, or outlandish shit like the chameleon stealth unit with some boomsticks (a pole + dynamite + blasting cap)... then spray paint the mess you made, I currently have a green paint and chrome ... shiny

Got to warn you, it is very grind heavy and features a punishing durability system... that awesome legendary weapon you got, can and will break and need repairs which essentially boils down to replace really... and the XP system needs tweaking, it rewards on kills and assists but not with objectives... kill enemy get XP, cap point no XP ... and some weapons are kind of stupidly OP, like guide missiles that lock on sans warning and can track extremely well and there is no counter in this bar :P
It is in CLOSED beta with a buy in for the impatient AKA me :)
It seems to have LOADS of potential, you need to build vehicles, fight for parts, play the player driven market for player made parts, gain reputation with factions to build your own parts and balance selling those with using them... and it all looks great and runs pretty smoothly and the combat servers seem to be not to bad.
It is published by Gaigin (War Thunder , Star Conflict) so there will be monetising in there.
Sometimes keeping an eye on your stats is not a good thing :P

Some things are painfully obvious, others must be made obvious... painfully

Been playing a lot of Bloodborne recently as I decided I wanted to try and beat the game never leveling up my character once. It's been going well so far as I've beaten 4 of the bosses the game has to offer. There are some fights coming up I'm not looking forward to but then if I didn't want to fight them at the lowest level in the game, then I shouldn't have challenged myself to beat the game as a Waste of Skin

Tokyo Jungle on Ps3. Fun but with some frustrating bits. Take control of various animals in an abandoned future Tokyo to hunt/graze, gain territory and breed before you die of old age. The good stuff such as taking down a hyena with a pack of alley cats is very satisfying but some of the platforming can be fiddly.

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate which I haven't been able to play in a decade but thanks to GOG I picked up a patched for Windows 7 copy and have been cleansing heretics with bolter, flame and chainsword again.

I may have developed a Rocket League addiction.
This is my sandvich. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My sandvich is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my sandvich is useless. Without my sandvich, I am useless. I must eat my sandvich true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy, who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will. Before lunch I swear this creed: my sandvich and myself are defenders of my country, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but sandvich. Om nom.

Assassins Creed on PS3. I've had this for ages but have never got around to actually giving it the time needed. The controls can be frustrating but the basic gameplay has a good hook.

I picked up Xenoverse 2 yesterday and am loving it... I am such a sucker for Dragon Ball stuff (even tho I still think Budokai 3 controls are the best).

As I already owned Titan Quest the Immortal Throne the Anniversary edition got added to my library so I've been playing that. Not that different and mainly a few fixes for Win 10 (hack spit) and content removed in Beta for good reasons added back for no reason. Still nice if you like Diablo style games and with the dual class system it has lots to play with but get Titan Quest vault if you intend to play much as it's shared inventory is too small without this utility.

Rayman Legends which starts out well but is a bit too fiddly in parts for my liking. Plenty to do though and mostly fun.

Lego Lord of the Rings. More of the same but OK for a fiver on sale. Sadly missing some of the buildy fun of other Lego titles.
