Steam sale ends soon (I think there's one more set of daily deals to come) so thought I'd post my opinions on afew games I bought:
Blood Bowl: Lengendary Edition - was frustratingly difficult at first, but after that hump it got quite addictive. Wish the Campaign mode was more engaging though.
Anno 2070 - Seems a really good city builder type game, but unfortunately I keep getting "program stopped responding" crashes 15-20 mins after launch.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit - Cops and Racers car chases. So obviously it's fun.
Civiliazation V - Hadn't played a Civ game since Civ 2, but like that game it keeps me hooked. Buy this if you have even a remote interest in strategy games (just don't trust Ghandi!).
Just Cause 2 - Haven't played this on PC yet, but I already own it on 360 (I got the PC version because of the new multiplayer mod being made). There's no reason not to get this at a discount price - good game.
Solar 2 - Kind of fun, but very simple. Very much a pick up and play for 10-20 minutes kind of game.
Worms: Reloaded - It's Worms, and it's a good version. Worth picking up.
Legends of Grimrock - Played a couple hours of this and it seems great. Still getting to grips with some of the UI choices, but enjoying it.
Company of Heroes/CH:OF/CH:ToV - excellent WW2 strategy game. Plays just like the first Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War game, which makes alot of sense since it's by the same developers.
I also bought these but haven't played them yet:
Driver: San Francisco
E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy
Fallout: New Vegas
From Dust
Hacker Evolution: Duality
Half Life 2/Episode One/Episode Two (and no, I really haven't owned any of these until now

)
Plants vs Zombies: GotY Edition
Portal 2
Tropico 4
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine
The Witcher 2
