3 Tier 3 weapons maxed at level 100 and on my last role for each character before I've maxed them all out. As much as I hate grinding in other games, it is quite fun in this one.

Got Odin. Had another go today after the grinding so I had enough health to survive the attacks and heal up. Tried med-med then realised it wasnt enough so switched to rav when odin used shield. I levelled up a few of my roles for snow and tidus junior (the little kid, forgot his name) expecting to unlock more skills and stats but nothing :( Guess I need to get further in the story. I'm going to try and get through to about chapter 9 or 10 before I start upgrading things to save on equipment. I think I'll just use a guide for it to get the most out of my upgrade components.

You don't really need to worry about upgrading until about Chapter 11, I didn't really and it paid off. A couple of pages back there's a scan from the guide or something taken from the guide stating which components to use to maximise upgrading. Your Crystarium is capped until you get further in the game, sucks because I would of lolkorea grinded my face off before I did the story XD

You have to be doing it wrong X, chapter 11 boss ain't that hard. Buff/debuff nuke, heal repeat. Use a permanent sent to eat most of the damage until you stagger

Also, just started a new playthrough. Going to do this properly and not make the same moronic choices I did first time

End boss, tower is even more of a joke using a delta attack setup (no point going for debuffs/buffs you'll use a dispellga at some point or rage yourself dispelling all that crap)

I got to end of Chapter 5 with Light and Hope and the end boss is iritating. I know you lot are past him but I run out of phoenix downs and can't heal quick enough >.<

/end rant. Will play some point after work this week and try again >.<

It hasn't got me gripped yet like 10 did, but still enjoyable.

I thought it was pretty good, then you hit chapter 11+ and OMFG it's awesome.

Just went back to the last 'main story' boss and sat on his face in under 3 minutes in total for the 5 star achievement. Also took down what people believe as the hardest encounter in the game, he has 15 million hp and took me 20 minutes, came close to getting owned a couple of times too!

Now for the grueling task of getting 5 stars for ALL 64 missions >_>

having another go at chapter 11 boss again in a bit, managed to find a mob in oerba which respawned really easily and just grinded that, now have lightning at almost 4k hp, fang at 5.5k and hope at just about 3k. Should be alright this time :P

haha it was easy this time..

should have been too, fangs and lights weps are at about level 50

landed in chapter 11 on saturday morning and it's really nice to have to freedom to run around and explore. i did have a bit of a shock when i first went into combat in the plains though! i've not really struggled with any battle so far so i think i was a bit over confident. several fights i've engaged in have ended very badly :( however, it has made me appreciate the benefits of having a sentinal in the group to soak up some damage.

started off using light/snow/hope which were basically com/sen/syn for combined defense, attack and team enhancment. however, i've now changed it up a bit and using light/snow/vanille and finding them to be a pretty unstopable force. vanille is easily the best medic at this point and i've also got her magic rating over 600, which at this stage for me is about 200 higher than snow or light's strength rating. needless to say vanille switches between sab and rav quite a lot!

i <3 this game!
