[360/PS3 - RPG] Final Fantasy XIII

completed the story about half an hour ago after a little over 55 hours to get there (8 of which were this morning ). it certainly was awesome although the last boss annoyed me by insta-killing me twice. made it feel all the better when i actually killed him though.

now to do all the things i haven't done yet...!!

Finished it last night. 58 hours and 25 missions 5 starred. Also had lightning, Fang and Hope with tier 2 weapons (lightnings was maxed). Disappointed in the ending. As soon as I've got the achievements I'm trading in. I really can't see myself wanting to play through the storyline again. I enjoyed the battle system at the beginning but I grew tired near the end. Every battle is buff/debuff > ravage / commando, and medic when needed. Despite all of that I did actually enjoy the game, regardless of how my wording comes across above

I think its because I couldn't invest emotionally into the story like I could on the other games. Also the music wasn't as moving or anything like that.

so did i, i rate it up there with ff7 as one of the best ff games i've played.
