Eador: Genesis is free on GOG.COM right now. It's a little indie game in the same spirit as the old Heroes of Might & Magic 3.

probably already posted, but, quake champions is free while in beta. not only that, it is seriously good! unlike UT (i hate the alpha and think the rot started at UT coming from the best game of all time Unreal) which seems to have got worse. they've made a lot of the skill elements in UT easy. there was an art to double jump etc, now it's one button, and so on...

anyway, screw UT, quake champions has managed to pull off what all the recent classic fps style games miss. they have managed to make the game look new and sit with all the other AAA titles comfortably while managing to capture the old FPS feels. also, you have to kill people! sounds daft, i know, but you actually have to hit them and not just spam in the general direction. things may change, well they definitely will as it's in beta, just if they manage to keep the core as is this is going to be the return of classic FPS shooters!! it really does have that old school feel. go get it now!

Deadlight: Director's Cut is free on GOG.COM right now. A zombie themed puzzle platformer that got marked down only for it's relatively short length. But now it's free for a time.
