I've heard they'll have similar World v World that GW2 has used, only when you break down a castles walls, you'll actually have to repair them back up once you capture it!

SWTOR, WAR, Rift, Aion, D&D, EQ 2 and couple of more were also promising. And look what happened to them.

I also never understood popularity of Elder Scrolls series, because every one of them starting with Arena and ending with Skyrim was an unbelievable bug-fest (see Buggerfall).
Story line was pathetic in every single one of them with the exception of Oblivion which actually has a good story except the cliché ending. Worst is probably Skyrim with "FUS RODAH IMA DRAGONBORN LOL UMAD YOLO SWAG ROFLCOPTER BBQ COMEATME ARROWTOTHEKNEELOLZ".
Now another huge problem with every game was idiotic AI, where you could just stand on a rock and farm NPCs stuck below.
Every new TES game also has less and less content, Buggerfall had 15000 cities, towns, villages and 750000 NPCs. Failrym can't compare.
To me it seems that development cycle goes like this; 5 years nothing is being done, 2 years before release comes the massive hype and they start releasing photoshopped images, 1 year before release they open Construction Set and slap a map together and that's about it. Beta test is nonexistent because why bother, since it's going to sell millions and get 10/10 from reviewers who are as independent as a Tibet (hi EA-IGN)

I would much rather see new Wizardry or Might and Magic than another TES turd.

If you can stomach his awfully annoying voice, stupid facial expressions and all around annoyance, this is a very interesting video! I'm not sure how the limited spell choice will work, since it kinda' failed (imo) in GW2 PvP.

I'm staying away from Alpha builds because so much can change that it's silly.

Whilst limited spells didn't work in GW2 (and I agree with you on that) it worked EXTREMELY well in the original Guild Wars. Plus, if you have a free-for-all of spells, it can become difficult to balance and you'll have players just whacking the keyboard to win.

Signed. I'm not expecting to get in though. I barely made it into SWTOR's beta, and GW2. EOS, I imagine, will have much more people wanting to play it based on the success of Skyrim alone.

I hope the dungeons are challenging though, because Skyrrim (Which EOS reminds me most of) was pathetically easy.

There is a guy who basically remade Skyrim, fixed a lot of bugs and how the magic system should work, harder enemies etc in a mod, doesn't change the gameplay ie quests etc which would be worth looking into, forgot who it was but you can really tell the difference between unmodded and modded difficulty by fixing shit and making mobs harder.
