This game essentially has points to stand on.
WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR?!
It feels like there's a lot of people who play it like COD and just pick a choke point to hold, rather than trying to complete the objectives. Part of me thinks the gameplay should be slowed down, but you actually get very few stalemates so it has so far avoided turning into the current version of TF2. Good fun, especially if you can get some teamwork going.

I was in two games yesterday where people held checkpoints and didn't push for objectives. The last one was 6v6 and we had three snipers whilst attacking.

I find that competitive mode means that most people try for the objective.
Quick joining randoms does not. Also, some people can take offence when I demand that they do something useful. Somethings never change.

I've been having mixed results with it but the people are of a similarly low level so it could still be learning curve at first.

People could get around the problems with bad character choices if only everybody would buy Kira. Infinite ammo without having to throw it, amazing primaries, and a goddamn ion cannon. What's not to like?!

I'm enjoying playing as Skyhammer again after a brief period of not playing as him. Not sure how I feel about Redeye yet, he feels more like a poor man's Vasilli rather than an actual sniper. Which makes me wonder why on earth he has a sniper rifle as his primary in the loadout card you get at the beginning.

I feel this game would be a lot better with a full team. Being able to communicate would really help the way you play seeing as it's mostly objective based.
