UKCS Mega Game Servers

Hi All,

Long time no see.

Just wanted to say hello and see if anyone from the old days is still about.

I can see that nobody has posted here for some time.

I have noticed that there has been little to no activity on the servers and I am wondering is DoD:S finally dead?

It just seemed like a slow decline and a lot of the old regs have moved on.

Opinions anyone?

EDIT: Just look at the last post dates for any game/forum. It's not just the game, it's UKCS as a whole. It's on it's arse.

I'm around very rarely but go on other servers due to lack of traffic on UKCS.

Such a shame - it kept me going through my GCSE's and I really need DoD to keep me going through my Degree too

I know it's a bit of a bump, but came back and had a look in DODS after revisiting for the TF2 annoucement - my last non-admin post on the forums was three and a half years ago...

Haven't played DODS in yonks, unlikely to again as the Day Of Infamy mod of Insurgency (now standalone game) is feckin' awesome, much better than I remember DODS being. Maybe that's where everyone from DODS went?

Given that that one CS:S server is filled and one or two TF2 servers are filled at any given night......and everything else is empty.

Such a shame I met some really fun folks here it's really sad to see the way things have gotten.

I blame the the way gaming culture has changed, clan and community servers appear to be relics....

Yeah I find myself playing Day of Infamy quite a lot now, it has certainly filled the void.

I also have high hopes for Days of War.

Yeah it's like it's come to a sad end. The forum, the TF2 community, it's all been forgotten and left behind. Very sad, but i still keep in touch with a few who i played with back when TF2 servers were full but obviously life has changed many, things like marriage, kids etc, even emigrating to the other side of the world. And some just stopped gaming. I still play, although nothing like i used to, Overwatch is one that i know a few have moved on to but it's not the same.
I think it would be a good idea to corroborate a list of members and what pc games they play nowadays, maybe even PS4 or XBOX 1, with usernames so we can see who is playing what and perhaps it will re-unite some of us players?
