New Map

Over the Summer Break I am going to start on a new map as I am probably going to be really bored. So here is the idea

I am thinking 3 routes like all valve maps have. Like 3 different flanks where you can cut off to a different flank every so often, I am going to try and make it so you can get onto rooftops more but not outside of the level. I am also thinking of making more space to run around in. And a really high church tower.

Any Ideas or Disagreements post here so I know what to go on. As I dont want to make a really really disappointing map. So you guys can help.

I suppose this will be going to the direction of a city map? If so, I'd like to see more than two to three houses that are accessable, for sniping or some other purposes. If this ain't gonna happen, I can live with that. :) Looking forward to this, lemme know when you need a tester. ;P

Could make it narrow street corners and then like, a big square with a flag in teh middle and a church tower there :D

With lots of Mg and sniper positions of course :D

don't make the tower too high :wink: becasue you get the fog effect otherwise :lol:

Also if its too high some graphics cards may not be able to render it fast enough and tey might be able to see through it depending on how far away they are.

Im thinking about some beakable walls......

These Are the lastest screenshots there are some untextured places I cut some of them out so you dont look on that as I will work on texturing everything and filling in any leaks this is how far 3 days has got me so tell me what you think.

:) I try but I aint had anythign to dop im looking for a job so this just keeps me giong for now, Im trying to keep the middle even with a fair few places or people to go without making it uneven for one team. so im going to make it 1 house on one side on house on the other etc. with a few routes in the middle to cut off from. There has been a few bugs wit the lighting but Ive sorted them so far. Hopefully no more will crop up Im nearly up to the 4th flag out of 5 :) so im hoping it turns out okay. if it gets run on UKCS then I want constructive criticism from you guys :) Good or bad. As I want to make a map everyone likes.

Also there is some rain on it. I dont think this will affect the FPS hwoever if it does I may have to take it off. I dont know what the FPS will be on computers so I will need some feedback on that. :)

Put it on a test round when it's ready we'll test that does it lag or not :)

I wouldn't mind seeing some little allys etc. so all the assault guys don't get picked off from far distances, and maybe a little more cover in some areas etc.

Added some alleys specially for you ;) hope there ok. Ive also done at the allied spawn near there first flag a slightly darkened place where everyone will run when the allies lose and theres lots of trees to hide behind. Might be quite fun :P.
