the update has been released, but I didn't see anywhere the mention of fix/whatever for multi-core cpus.

Not seen anything about it.

I dont know if my PC is justt having a good day today or something though but my game seems to be running a whole bunch smoother now :/

Just type net_graph 1 in console, that'll show your fps (and some other data).

Didn't try the command again yet, and didn't notice any change in performance whenever I played earlier.

with this command, tried it on 2 levels in different places, i managed to get a ton better performace.

I didnt try it on a server with poeple on it though, just one with me standing in different places.

Pre command on CP_Orange_X3 i was getting 160-190fps, with the command i was hitting 200-245

Also on the new egypt map the fps went from 80-100 and then all the way up to 175.

Weather it has an effect in real games or not im yet to find out, if it does is there a way to make this command load on tf2 startup?

Add it to config.cfg in team fortress 2\tf\cfg and it will execute when you start the game.

Thanks for the config command but i dont think it will be nessisary, Definatly increases my FPS by lots so it would be lovely to have but it also makes the game crash within about 3 minutes of me entering it in to the console

FYI this command is still causing crashes as it did with me....30 seconds after putting it in console with a full server on #3

I tried it as well... played for quiet a while before it crashed , error message about writing to memory.

Perfomance was improved I must admit... may try it again and see how long before the crash.
