The problem is people who don't push at the right time. Or keep the pressure on once the sentries are down, enabling the opposition to rebuild.

And brainless suicide does often help. Sometimes, it only takes a few seconds of blocking a capture to enable support to arrive and prevent an otherwise complete cap.

TF2 has also become less team-communicating-is-required. I don't even play with a headset or mic any more because talking to myself is lame, and anyone who would be inclined to talk is already sitting on Mumble in that little clique of players. (That's not a dig at Mumble or the Mumble-peeps, by the way)

I don't sit in Mumble, but do speak on in-game comms. (Reason I don't do Mumble is mostly because I tend to be talking about the game, rather than chat, so it's only relevant to people on the same server/team as me.)

Played on #8 for the first time in a while and it felt like I was the only one to notice that cart, no medics and too many snipers not to mention AmR going a bit overkill on the stickies and killing most of my team. I say play on #6 if you want something a bit more even but even then we're plagued by team stacking and spawn killing :(

Even on #6 people ignore the objectives. I've played many a game there where it seemed like I was the only person going for the intel.

nevvy wrote:It's not the stats. I always cared about my stats. I'm slightly proud that I'm still listed in the top 200 ukcs players by score, yet you could never say that I put living ahead of winning. Completing the objective will not hurt your stats when playing against 4 snipers.

The only 2 stats that matter are Captures and Defenses!
(captures being the most important as that show you realy did the job and it wasnt juts a lucky person that you killed next to a payload cart)

Not even rounds won or lost matter. As thats something you can do by not doing the objective.
Now on the workshop!

Oh boy, Nevvy, why are you playing dota? There are no points to stand on there, only towers to destroy.... You were the last Pyro from my friendlist i would uber without hesitation and you aren't playing anymore QQ

Yep, teamwork went down the drain and i stopped playing Medic for that reason. I kept updating my mates on my uber status so we could push when i'm ready, but then no one follows >.<

I hope you didn't see those Medics attached to a Heavy like they are tied with an umbilical cord :P

Older times were better (read with an old man voice).

Things started to go downhill because all you guys decided to jump ship without teaching the younguns about teamwork and point standing :P
