Add a few admins to your friends list, one of them is always on line and will be more then happy to help. (1 is never enough^^)

If you send a PM to the admin group, they receive a notification when playing on any UKCS server that the have a PM and can review it immediately. They can also, if they have it configured, get an email alert.


Reporting it in-game or to admins on Steam has a much more instant effect unless they're afk (I can't think of a single instant that every single admin has been afk at once).


However, posting in a thread doesn't send out such an alert. I personally don't make it a habit to check forum topics at regular intervals throughout the day.



If you want an admin to respond as quickly as possible to a problem on a server but it seems that none are currently on the servers, the best bet is always to contact one of us on Steam. If, for example, someone was hacking, it wouldn't really be the best idea to start a topic saying "Come quick! There's a hacker!" or "There was a hacker on the server ten minutes ago an no admins turned up".

I don't think a Demo would do much as it happens at the start of the round, so usually I haven't loaded in yet. Or they just aren't all playing at the same time, so it's hard to capture them all doing it together. What about screenshots of the teams?

Screenshots would work. In fact, if you can send us screenshots that shows the same people consistently stacking the same team over and over again, that'd be very helpful .

I confirm what exxxie says.
Nowdays it is impossible on UKCS8 for the blue to win maps like barnblitz and dustbowl unless the team is horribly stacked.
I vouch for extending spawn timers.

Dustbowl isn't on #8 as it's a cp map. With barnblitz it's always hard to cap last on instant re spawn server even if the teams are level.

It's been always like this. I used to stack to RED because it's easier to defend than to attack with a bunch of unorganized people.

I actually enjoy the fact that on some maps, it's hard to win for BLU. At a certain point, teams will switch anyways and you'll get to be on RED and have your turn at winning.
And for those games that are so long that the teams don't switch before map change, if the round is long, it means that both teams were balanced and the game was at least close and interesting. I've witnessed one-sided steamrolls on #8 less often than on #2.
The biggest issue I see with #8, is that we have 4-5 Snipers on the same team at times and as a Medic main when on BLU, it's annoying to have nothing to über.

Pretty sure I was online at Steam at the time you posted that and you didn't try to get in touch with me to fix it. If you had grabbed me on Steam, I would have jumped onto the server to help you solve the issue.


As I said in the quoted text you posted, you've got at least three lines of contact to grab an admin. Try all of them. Still, sad to see you go.

Yes, people can contact admins and this should be done. However, we as a team said we would do something and it has not been done. This is entirely down to me. We took our time deciding on the right way to proceed and have then had some issues behind the scenes that have stopped the rollout of the fix. I hope to get it sorted ASAP, but it needs some development work done by someone else, so I have to wait on them first.

I'm really sorry, it was never my intention to have it play out this way, but I am trying my best to get this sorted.
