Problem choosing team

Every time i join any server and choose team i get forced into spactator mode. Somehow i can't change team from there on and get kicked for being afk. And it's absolutely no admins on.
And the server doesn't have a livechat to ask for admins either.

I've been on most the evening and you can use @ to contact the admins in chat.

Not sure about your team problem though.

This is an issue which some times occurs on connecting to a server. Two solutions:

1. Join a team via console command. I can't recall the command off the top of my head but there definitely is one.

2. Type 'retry' in the console to reconnect to the server.

Ah that problem! I haven't had that in ages! The above should sort that out, I can't remember what causes it though.

It's a communication error to the server which bugs out the engine. It tends to happen if there are a lot of very fast connections and the server thinks you're still loading in so it forces you to a connection spec slot.

Open console and type in 'spectate'. Don't use 'retry' because you're going to lose the slot. Or you can use 'jointeam spectator'.

This. Retry will reconnect you to the server, and given UKCS' queues and tendency to kick due to reserved slots, you'll be without gametime for a while!

You're best bet is to use the spectate command. This happened to a player yesterday on #8 and spectate worked first time for him/her.
