KotH Namicott

A KotH map where the point is on a train that moves across the map. The train movement does not depend on point ownership or anything else - it just goes back and forth through three different areas, pausing at each end. To prevent sightline along the track from being too powerful, there are doors between the areas that automatically close off the area that the train is not in.

yea, I like the looks of this as well. I'll forward it to our mapping team, see if they can add it to one of the map tests we run regularly.

So the point moves on a train?
And is the train going to crush you if you stand infront of it?

the train doesn't crush you, it moves verrry slowly so crushing wouldnt make sense. a train fast enough for crushing to make sense would have players chasing the point instead of letting them to take their time fighting the other team and i dont want that

Version B7a released. Download link and screenshots in the OP updated. Major changes include:
- reworked skybox
- fixed train not destroying engineer buildings
- fixed multiple clipping errors
- added more metal near tracks
- added windows to spawns

Unless an important bug like the building one will be found, there will be no further updates anytime soon.

I really enjoyed this map. It had a lot of close combat and not so much of the usual demo/soldier spam.

RC1 released. Download link in OP updated.

Major changes include:
- Fixed people getting stuck in the train
- Widened bridge, track doorways and platforms at mid.

Notes:
- The announcer does not announce control point captures. It's either that or people getting stuck in the train. And I don't want people to get stuck in the train.
- The bots do not understand the map at all.
- I chose not to compile HDR lighting because I didn't wanted to double the filesize just for HDR.
