pl_manngrove

Description: As the payload plods its course through Manngrove Marsh you can rest assured it's going to be a bumpy ride.
The focus of this map is to provide players with a complex, yet refined, approach to the payload game type. While the path of the cart provides a clear focal point, the numerous and diverse access points ensure that a skilled player will be able to outmaneuver or directly overpower the opposition. Additionally, this map attempts to revitalize the concept of base infiltration as the Blu team moves from the Red team’s façade to deep inside the Red rocket base, all the while, pleasing the player’s eye.

Really nice map, in the level design spirit of TF2.
During the only time I played, neither team was able to push the car past the second checkpoint, saaaad

I got to play about half a round of this, towards the inside, and I must say, I quite enjoyed it, actually, the multileveled combat seems somewhat rare as a map feature, probably because demos and soldiers have an advantage I guess..

got a chance to play this entirely and found it a little short. it is a good map and all, though some of the higher level tiers really promote solly and demo spam, and if you don't have enough quick jumpers when pushing its easy to nullify the attack. need another few plays to comment properly as i only got to play two rounds (currently on a shortened time limit?) first being fairly steamroll attack then followed by a solid defence where they didn't even get inside the building :( maybe a little too many hide/camp spots for the defence to exploit.

played this map tonight on #8 very bad choke point on the fourth point.having spawn straight outside where blue meant to push is very bad. :(
