Pl_waste_v2

So I saw this youtube video

and realised I HAD to play the map.

We have tested this map before and it got awful reviews and so decided that it was not for us.

The cart moving both ways was confusing for a lot of players. I guess we can use a popup message to warn people at map start. Also the choke points were really nasty I seem to remember.

If enough people post saying they want to try it again we could look at giving it another go.

I don't understand.
If both teams can push the cart, is it possible than RED push all along the map, and finally BLU push the last meter ?

No, The cart pushes both ways. Essentially you have to push it into your opponents base. The cap point is by their spawn.

its a bit like a tug of war, except pushing not pulling ;) both teams can win by pushing it to the opposing end. while very good for comp play i personally dont think it will suit a pub. as cold said, it would be very stalemate. well, at least 80% of the time. it needs a lot of organisation and most players attempting to push at some point. a lot of pub play people like to DM it too much, meaning; the select few that do push become targets with very little protection. the cart would barely get out the central area, and, once it does the following areas are 'indoors' and very tight. one demoman in comp play can be stopped, 4 or 5 in pub play, and a good sentry, would kill it.
it is a very nice map none the less. it just isn't suited to large scale pubs. that's my view anyway.
