Can someone tell me what software people use to create maps.
(got a whole lot of free time on my hands over the next couple of months so i thought i give map making a go)

If I recall, it's made in Hammer like much of the other Valve stuff but I could be wrong.

im sure theres a post somewhere that Alias(?!) did with a good guide to map making. a good starter link was THIS forum with lots of useful tutorials and free tools. there was lots of other stuff too. give him a shout if i can't find the post first.
