Presuming that area is styled with css coding it probably needs an overflow value, I think it would be:
Code: Select all
overflow: auto;

You can probably set that on the css for the username, if you add a width to it. Make sure the wiidth has !important on the end though ;)
Code: Select all
width: 250px!important

More than happy to help if you need it :)

Your warning level: [1]

What happens when this goes up? Is there a three strikes and your out sort of policy? Is this public for everyone to see?

I like it

No its not automatic. But if the number of warnings is high then It will make me more inclined to ban people.

lol.

Crakin, why cant we embed images larger than 800px wide? - Its pretty annoying! - an 800px limit, which, means most images will have to be resized.

Also, can tyou make it autostretch? - I mean, if theres alot of content (ie wide image) - the page stretches out?

Thanks

This is a bit of constructive criticism really;

I find it particularly hard to read the even number posts, could I suggest that the default forum style shipped with phpbb3 be installed and available but NOT the default?

Some discrepancies I have also noticed that distract me so are, after each frame block (screenshot below) little white triangles mask the edge, making it sore on the eyes after a lengthy period of reading a topic, obviously in Firefox you do not see this as they are tagged as being transparent. But in Internet Explorer which I use at college & work, and I assume many others do, it's quite annoying.

This is of course my opinion, yet I really do feel this has to be addressed

TL;DR : Make the default theme option available in the User Control Panel, please.

End.

Agree on your fist option, id love for there to be that theme as a second option, but, im somewhat used to this now.

Those wghite marks are to do with the theme creator, not crakin/TC - as they did not create it. It has to be there to prevent issues with IE i believe.

I didn't even notice them until you pointed them out Itchy. So picky :p <3

An alternate theme could be cool.

Still curious as to whethere the home page is going to be upgraded?

Once images go larger than that the page width needs scrolling for some users. You are perfectly able to upload the full image into the Image Uploader and then copy the thumbnail into the post.

Yes, I plan to face lift the front page as well. We held off waiting for the forum upgrade to try to get some matching of colour schemes. I don't have an ETA for the front page though. Upgrading the forum was scheduled to be completed by Dec 31st, so we we're ahead of schedule on that one.

Certainly all moderators see it in his profile, not sure about non mods. It logs warnings and reasons and allows us to see a collated view over time and from everyone who has had dealings with each member. The recipient of the warning gets told why and can keep track of things too, so they can manage themselves better. Before we'd have just sent a PM and lose track of who has said what, now the forum supports all this for us. Much much better than the manual methods we had to use before.

We also have many more options for dealing with people who need help with using the forums, rather than just the old limited "they can post" or "they are banned". Eg, restricting people from starting new threads, to removing PM abilities, or making it so every post they make has to be first approved by a mod before it will appear. Dozens of choices to be applied to the appropriate problem at the appropriate level. This makes for a better environment all round.

It's not that i'm being a bitch and nit-picking, it's just that it does hurt my eyes somewhat due to my prone-ness to migraines.

great job on updating the layouts!
I like the fresh look, well done.

I have just 3 points as feedback:

1. the huge fonts make now less visible text on my screen. a lot less, as it feels. Maybe bit smaller, as it was?

2. the huge orange points on the front page (the status points) burn my eyes. a lot.

3. could you consider an additional alternative layout version, like a 'lite' version, without the many colors, icons, sigs, avatars etc? Something like 'suitable for office version'.
I enjoy reading the forums, but many times to read 2-3 useful sentences I have to scroll through 3 full pages worth of sigs.
It's great, that people express themselves (or their nightmares, vide BenJy most times lol), but it would be equally great, if I had the option to skip this part when I'm in office.

?
