by This forum is where all the UKCS admins can advertise special events they will be running on their servers. These can range from maptests to complete gameplay changes such as the TF2 "Highlander" events.
Everyone is welcome to participate in these events- if you don't normally play on those servers, you'll still be made welcome!
Who should I contact about events or maptests?
If you have any ideas or suggestions about events that we can run on UKCS and advertise accordingly, you should contact one of the members of the Events committee. The full list of members for the committee can be found here. If you want to become a member of the Events Committee, you are welcome to register your interest.
Events are advertised both in the Events Forum and on our front page (http://www.ukcs.net).
- Previous events have included things like:
- Sniper only Nights
- Custom maps nights
- "Highlander" events (only one of each class is allowed)
- etc
Maptests are also conducted regularly to see if there are any potential custom maps to be put onto rotation for the servers.
