TF2 Extreme Fun Events!

The UKCS TF2 team is proud to announce our latest enhancement to everyone's experience on the servers- Extreme Fun Events. Currently we are trialling this, but from what we've seen so far, it could well become a permanent feature.

Extreme Fun Events will incorporate all the crazy and fun maps that are just too crazy to go on rotation, as well as having all talk on and ranks off so you won't lose all your hard earned points! Featuring maps like plr_whalerace, balloon_race and koth_traingrid, we'll be putting on the most insane and fun maps we have!

There's a twist to this, though- we won't be advertising or announcing when these events take place until the map before they start!

Don't be down hearted if you miss one of these events, though- We'll be running them at random times throughout the week, on all of our rotation servers (#1, #2 and #6) so there's a good chance you will get to attend. If you are really lucky, you'll be able to get a spot by joining the server after the admin running them announces it over cross server chat.

As ever, we would love to know what kind of maps you would like to see played at these events- if you have any suggestions for maps please do say!

Someone once tried or joked to make a map called pl_badwaterworld. its badwater but filled with water.
But if you call a server Waterworld its destined to fail!

Some maps are not on the list because of performance problems for players etc. The maps have been well-reviewed.

This event is so awesome that I have to have a permanent free space in my room, when I join the event too much awesome is coming from my pc... sry lol, last exam tomorrow, tripping...

Who said that? Lolcano is definitely on the list of fun maps, I just put 3 examples up....

For the record, nagging admins to perform these events is less likely to have them run.

I've played the Balloon Race a couple of times on a different server, and it can be a fun map to play on. So God only knows what it will be like on a UKCS server.
More fun than anyone can possibly imagine is my guess
