UKCS MEGA CS:S Map Test

The UKCS CS:S team have been pre-testing some "refined" maps that are possible for rotation on the CS:S (#1 and #2) servers!

Why not come along? It is taking place on:

Saturday 1st December

at 19.00

Lurky has been working on improving some classic maps which should all eventually end up on the main servers on a regular basis. We are looking for as much feedback as possible (as long as its constructive!)

If you feel any of the maps could be tweaked for a more enjoyable gaming experience, please say ingame and we will take note. Lurky should also be online and no better person to discuss it with than the person who is finalising the maps This is the best opportunity to shape the maps to your liking ! In total there are 4 epic maps - so should take a little over an hour

When you say "refined" what do you mean?

I'm already running Casey's config and the lowest level graphics settings... I hope this doesn't mean more drain on my PC

One of several aims of improving certain maps was to reduce the FPS burden - and on preliminary testing, no FPS issues were reported

The reason I started the remakes was because I had a 10 year old PC so I too wanted to get a better frame rate so don't worry about that

What you'll be playing is pretty much final versions of the maps so any last minute problems or suggestions would be great so just let me know during the test as I'll be listening
